Can you clarify for me. I was told the Khunjerab pass, the main route between China and Pakistan is closed, due to snow, 4 months a year. Is this true?
If so, is there any plans under CPEC to get round this?

Wind is cheap.but obviously intermitent.
solar is the future, under CPEC we are paying 9 cents a unit for imported coal power, our neighbour pays 4.5 cents for coal power and the same for solar now.
What bugs me is solar, wind, nuclear require up front investment, so should be cheaper under...
If he is proved to be a spy than agreed,But I doubt most of the cold war swaps were ever confirmed as spys.
My heart goes out to all the poor fisherman who are jailed on both sides. poor people trying to make a living. Maybe a no go zone would make sense, both will benefit from fish stocks...
Anyone who understands basic economics, will understand trade per se but trade with our neighbours make us richer, but logic is not a factor of our trade relations.
