The LKF-601E has more T/R modules than the Rafale's RBE2. The larger KLJ-7A has over 1000 T/R channels. Not sure where you're getting the idea that the radar won't be sufficient to exploit the PL-15's full range.

An eyewitness supposedly saw the J-35 prototype and said that it's about to undergo test flight. As with COVID-19 numbers coming from China, take these rumors with a bucket of salt.

But are these actual in-service vehicles or just trial firings conducted by the PLA? We haven't seen any SR5, A300, or SY300 in PLA markings.
