The last and final chapter of short book on JF-17 Thunder has been uploaded. The chapter includes information of JF-17 configuration of weapon load, range/mission profile and illustrations/digital art-work. I would need members help in proof reading the book before uploading its full and final...
One of the reason is that their was no need K-8 for assembly lines. PAC has 25% share in K-8. Plus, AMF has acquired small batch production machines which will be have their role in near future.
What Pakistan want is a reliable supplier for JF-17 parts, right? Russia threatened engine sale after the Indian pressure in past, but when they saw the bigger picture they changed their decision. It was 2007/8? 4-5 happy years tell you what? Now the recent paradigm shift in Pak-Russia relations...
Reverse enggineering requires design and operating manuals as well. When you buy an aircraft the owner trains your people on its design and its performance, they never tell you how its made. Which parts are made from which machine, which design methodology is adopted, which prons and cons were...
I don't know why people on forums are so interested in engine only. May be its just a point of discussion for you guys. The current engine is doing great, PAF is happy with it. Plus, some tweaking with their basic design has increased their performance and reliability. The current needs of JF-17...
I am curious to know why you think so? Have you seen or heard any such incident in which a Pakistan Army of AF soldier step back from his assigned duty just because he has a family?
Combat drones are a very complex and expensive technology and any such sale to Pakistan is most unlikely to...
It seems so. Most of people here are suggesting procurement for XYZ F-16 users, but the million dollar question is who will allow this sale? without US/LM consent no F16 user can sale its aircraft to other users, getting some spares via black market is a different thing;).
Pakistan should buy...
New international airport (fools in the power call it New Benazir Airport...no comments) is almost completed in Fatejhang. By 2014 all commercial flights will be routed there. Because of its close distance to the center, CHK will always remain important. Not to mention POL depots, flying clubs...
I think we all know the answer. Bk52s are such a great point defence fighters, but unfortunately because of the present (and at least next decade) Pak-US relations we may not see it as a complete "Force multiplier". Its current role in WoT will come handy in future, but till then it will remain...
I think you stop believing in rumours:D. Such large scale deployment was not even done in High Mark 2010. In peace time, 4+ fighter a/c do visit out of station locations, but ALL squadron strength never moves in one day..not even in War. Weather and flight safety precautions are the some of the...
Arey Bhai be realistic. Its 2012 and all you post is just dreams, dreams and dreams. Please see your defence budget, on-going weapons procurement/production projects, WoT and needs of your forces before making this "whish list".
I don't see any such meaning from this news report...
Pakistan has the right to use its resources inside its territory. Can we attack inside Afghanistan to take down Terrorist camps there? No. why? because we have no right to do so, any such adventure will escalate a big trouble.
Here is...
The reason behind Putin's cancellation of visit to Pakistan is the adorable personality of Mr.Z:D. Putin has never met him in the past, the word in mouth is that he is not interested in meeting Mr.Z in future. Russian Foreign minister and Army chief's recent visit to Pakistan and Kiyani's visit...
Since past few days I have been noticing unusual activity of Cobras in pindi. AFAIK Qasim base provides maintenance for Pumas and Mi17..but not Cobras?
"1 Billion USD a month" that is a big number,i seriously doubt this. How can PAF/PA sustain such big economic burden? Close to 1 Billion USD might be spent during an intense phase of operation in SWA (circa 2008/9) but claiming it to be norm would be unjust.
