Something very heavy, bulky & sensitive to travel by sea to Karachi & then upto Kamra by rail or road otherwise no point in using such a heavy & expensive chartered aircraft.
It could be special CNC machines, presses, curing machines, jigs, etc.
Have we deployed some special equipments like SIGINT, ELINT, etc. inside the designated air corridors to sniff out US & NATO equipments while they are over flying our areas to learn for our advantage someday???
Well its a stupid question as it cannot be made public but should we be happy????
The F-22 Mission in Afghanistan: Overkill or Realistic Training?
Oriana Pawlyk November 21, 2017
Three years ago, the F-22 Raptor made its combat debut in Syria.
The idea was for the fifth-generation fighter to use its stealth technology to evade detection from surface-to-air missile batteries...
If & When PAF finally decides for FC-20B then they will have it in a very short time period.
Remember my other post that China has established upto 3 assembly lines for J-20 & am sure that they can spare us some production aircraft.
I am pretty sure that PAF is monitoring & perhaps helping...
There is an old airfield at Deesa & they will perhaps build on it.
This is right across our Thar coalfields & power plants & distance between Islamkot air strip to deesa is only 210 km & Pakistani Tharparkar border is only 110 km.
Why do they need to build a major base so near the border???
As reported above J-20 in many iterations is progressing well & a good version in J-20B would be in service from 2019 onwards with new WS-15 engines (possibly with thrust vectoring), improved stealth, avionics & sensors, flight controls.
If members would recall PAF had said years ago that it is...
China ramping J20 stealth fighter production and should have improved WS-15 engine by 2019
| October 24, 2017 |
China’s Air Force released on its weibo social media account two pictures, which show four J-20 stealth fighter jets flying in formation.
As of 2017, it is reported that control...
I think the composition may include our Chinese Awacs, IL-78 tankers, ELINT aircraft besides F-7PG, Mirages, JF-17s.
Last time when Chinese exercised in Pakistan they commented that our pilots are very aggressive, so I believe we are also fine tuning their air combat skills.
So much to say that IAF always buys new fighters while PAF all the time relies on used aircrafts.
IAF offering to Malaysian Mig-29s & negotiating to buy 2 squadrons worth of 32 retired Jaguars from France.
These will shore up the depleting squadrons & aircraft nos. in a very short & ost...
Say if you were the Jaguar pilot which is a fast jet & you were using binoculors???????? This is really amazing. Do you do targeting in Jaguars by using binoculars ?????????
Its also amazing that you can do cobra manoevure in high mountains??????
IAF has itself said many times it was careful...
Analysts: India won't ink a single-engine fighter deal before 2019

NEW DELHI — India's single-engine fighter program, worth $12 billion, is unlikely to be "decided before 2019," analysts and officials...
When the JF-17 project was started 5 blocks were planned, we already have Blocks 1 produced, 2 under production & 3 under development. That leaves Blocks 4 & 5 to be designed & built.
These should take care of the remaining F-7Ps & PGs & Mirages till about 2025.
F-16s will not be retiring...
Why the F-16 deal isn’t a game changer
If realized, the F-16 deal will bring some jobs but nothing more—no market, no cutting-edge technology, and certainly no leverage against Pakistan
The downside of the deal, for India, is that by some estimates, less than 40% of the F-16 is actually...
Since it's a joint project some parts may have been built in Pakistan & sent over to China for final assembly.
Pakistan has good relations with Myanmar & they have sent their Navy personal for submarine training here.
They dont trust India much.
There are some 40 Block 42s made & being operated by USAF & they are standardizing on GE powered Block 40s & 50s & soon these 42s wmay become available.
PAF must strive to get these as these can be easily & cheaply upgradable, have 229 engines, heavier load undercarriage & they have internal...
These are formidable ships & perhaps this is the first time China has sent such powerful ships to Pakistan & it is a clear message for things to come in the future.
