    today's hinduism is not derived from the rig veda though. it is derived from the manusmrti, the mahabharata, the ayur veda, the rig veda etc. it's texts such as the manusmrti and mahabharata and some others that state caste. that is what many indians follow.

    i don't think most Muslims have any issue with any other religion. Most people in Pakistan will not have a negative impression of people in China. Religion isn't so relevant. Some people would like to see a religious divide however. Religious fervour is not unique to Muslims either.
