Senior TTP commander gunned down by body guard in FATA

Sir i am not doubting your knowledge and information but there may be something here.... May be he was going back to his old ways and breaking the pact, his guard who might have been an ISI plant 3 years ago was asked to take him out before he became too violent. I know it seems like a movie...

Video released of inside the pk-661 before crash:

If it is the same video which is circulating on the web where people are screaming and someone is shouting Allah Hu Akbar then it is from an Etihad airways flight from May 2016 which incurred turbulence. Plane is very clearly much bigger than an ATR and there are video screens placed on the...

LaLiga takes #ElClasico to Nelson Mandela Square

Madrid have quite a lot of injuries this time around so i will not be surprised if Barca wins. However Barca vs Madrid has always been decided on who wins the midfield battle (which has mostly been Barca in the recent past) and Zidane's packed midfield formation will not allow Barca to play...

Gen Ashfaq Nadeem and Gen Ramday, not resigning

You will never find out what others are worth unless they are given a chance, may be someone else down the order is even better. Like in the case of Gen Raheel, everyone wanted Gen. Rashid or Gen. Haroon to be the COAS while Gen. Raheel was considered too easy going, look what happened. It is...

Gen Ashfaq Nadeem and Gen Ramday, not resigning

All Generals who are considered for COAS at any given time are mostly from the same PMA log course, as i said earlier, there is a difference of seniority even among course mates which is considered sacred by the servicemen. I think most of the servicemen will not agree with you. Even from an...

Gen Ashfaq Nadeem and Gen Ramday, not resigning

Seniority in Pakistan Armed Services is not determined from year of commission, it depends on PA number assigned at the time of passing out. I think it is a good tradition and should be practiced, retiring from active service does not mean Gen. Ishfaq and Gen. Ramday cannot contribute anymore.

Gen Ashfaq Nadeem and Gen Ramday, not resigning

As much as i would have loved to see it happen and see the fire under NS's a$$ burn hotter, these are just speculations by the media. They are both retiring. It is not a matter of pride, it is a well respected tradition in the army which all officers take pride in following.

Gen Bajwa to define direction of operations’ new phase

I think it was just a "Don't worry about it" type response similar to what the Air Chief said a few days ago. Smile is showing he has utmost trust and confidence in the guy he is giving the baton to.

Gen Bajwa to define direction of operations’ new phase

That smile on Gen Raheel's face, it says a lot. I foresee more discomfort in the future for NS, TTP and India.

    CHIEF DON'Ts : Talat Hussain

This article by Talat Hussain is reminiscent of a women's complaint to her husband after 30 years of marriage saying "Tum nay sari zindagi mere liye kuch nahi kiya" If you look closely, you can clearly read in between the lines, the message is clearly from Mariam Safdar media cell filled with...

Lt.Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa the new COAS - Lt.Gen Zubair Hayat new CJCSC.

Spoke to my cousin who has known Gen. Bajwa for 20 years, his exact words were that NS took the safest bet based on his dimwit and suggestions from his court jesters as Gen. Bajwa is the most easy going out of the 3 main contenders. He also said that NS will be in for a reality shock very soon...

Lt Gen Zubair Hayat fits the bill for Nawaz Sherif as new COAS

One thing is sure, whoever becomes COAS, the first thing on his mind will be that he has big shoes to fill. Seldom in the past has a COAS become a public figure (unless he became Marshal Law administrator that is), even more so, none of them was given the stature of a public hero. This means...

Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem likely to be named as next Army Chief : Political Circles

If i remember correctly, Gen. Rashid Mehmud had a similar demineur to Gen. Ashfaq i.e outspoken and assertive that is why he was he was not chosen. Gen. Haroon was never a serious contender and Gen. Tariq had a similar profile to Gen. Bajwa. If we go by the same method, NS might choose Gen. Ramday.

Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem likely to be named as next Army Chief : Political Circles

If Gen. Ashfaq is named COAS it will mean that NS had no say what so ever in the decision and things will go as they were during Gen. Raheel's time which will be the best thing.

Farewell and Thank You General Raheel Sharif

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself turn into a villain, from "The dark Knight rises". Our people have a habit of turning hero's into villain very quickly hence it was the right decision by General Raheel to not take an extension. The good work he started will be continued...

Pakistan Navy forces out an armed Indian Submarine from Pakistani waters.

I had some questions regarding this whole episode and after going through 45 pages of mind numbing trolling they were not answered so here i am requesting some senior and technically knowledged member to answer them. 1. Was the sub detected under water or only when it was surfaced? 2. Was the...
