We can probably make them all work simply by halving the amount of fuel they carry. It will decrease their ferry range by 50% but allow them to take off from TCG Anadolu by reducing weight. I think UAVs/UCAVs are the future. Even Elon Musk agrees. :)
Also, I don't believe in purchasing foreign...
@cabatli_53 and I were discussing these matters on websites like trmilitary.com and trolling Greeks on WAFF since before you were even swimming in your daddy's balls, little man. I had already been a member here at defence.pk for 6 years before you even knew about it. Let me give you a little...
But if I do that I'll forget what email I used and will never hear from you again. You're not bad. If you practice you can become a good player. Looking forward to our next game.
Sorry, young man. But I'm still waiting on you to tell me what type of F-15 you want me to vote for. It's very...
@Glass
My chick was already logged in and added you to her friend's list for me. She doesn't use her real name. Message her on chess.com and we'll arrange for a game time. Cheers.
What kind of F-15 do you have on the poster hanging on your bedroom wall? I want to make sure I vote for the right one.
Hang on, I will register a new one too. A lot of us use our real names there. I'll add you afterwards.
I didn't call you or anyone else an "American fan boy". I did call @UkroTurk a "F-15 poster boy", which is humorous but isn't an insult by any stretch of the imagination. But calling another member an imbecile and a dog are clear insults.
By the way, if you're interested in actually comparing...
That depends on the target's flight altitude. If he's flying above the curvature of the Earth and therefore radar horizon than technically detection is only limited by weather clutter and the power/resolution of the radar.
If your radar is at 30 meters above sea level, and the target is flying...
Then may I ask? Why are you actively participating in it?
By the way, no one said it's on the same league as other fighters. But Hurjet, existing F-16s and UCAVs will be enough until the introduction of the TF-X.
@UkroTurk
Keep posting every F-15 picture you find on Google, kiddo. You're making some rednecks at Boeing very happy while our 15 Temmuz and PKK martyrs are turning in their graves. Bravo!
@cabatli_53 Please issue a warning to this cute fellow for his misguided attempts at trying to insult me.
Having said that, suggesting to buy the Su-57 is just as moronic as advocating an F-15 purchase.
Actually, Hurjet is being configured as a light fighter. Calling it just a trainer doesn't do it justice. Hurjet will operate with an existing fleet of F-16s, as well as a large assortment of UCAVs, which Turkey has peen pumping out like they grow on trees. As a whole, it'll all be enough until...
Yet you're advocating giving them even more money and buying "stop gap" fighters from them? If we can't trust them, if they may deny us engines, how can we tryst them providing us with the spare parts for the fighters we purchase from them?
Why give our money to potential enemies who we think...
Turkey already has a lot of heavier stuff and that's also why we're working on the TF-X. We don't need to be spending our hard-earned money right now on any foreign fighters unless they're offering 5th-gen technology that we can use for our own programs. US, especially, is out of the question...
What are you talking about? How is a Growler going to jam all our radars? Can you please provide a brief technical analysis as to how that's possible?
And why are you advocating buying F-15s from a country that might want to "jam our radars?"
Ahhaha. You're a trip. I'm going to have fun.
