I have visited Rothas fort a few times. It certainly must have been a majestic fort when it was constructed. Today it certainly needs renovation. It is a historic sight and needs to be preserved. It is very strategically located with river Jhelum on one side and a deep ravine on the other side...

There is a Hadith about each new era or time being worse than the one before it. Lets us ask Allah's protection for what ever evil lies in our future. The Hadith also predicts the war of Armaggadon. So far it is still in the future.
Certainly good news. If Turkey's work on laser weapons is in an advanced stage, than Pakistan should seriously consider collaborating with Turkey in this field. In any future conflict such weapons will sure come in handy. Considering Pakistan's history I do not rule out conflicts in the future.
Congratulations to our Turkish friends for developing high tech, Laser weapons. It will sure come in handy in the next conflict whenever it happens. It is better to be prepared than taken by surprise.

The picture shows a laser with power output in milli Watts or may be micro Watts. The laser weapons require power of more than 100 kilo Watts. Enough to burn a hole through a flying aeroplane.
The first thing to do on a good working rail link will be to make the track size uniform in Pakistan from Quetta to Iran border. Once that happens then trade can proceed smoothly. Once trade starts and proves profitable then other events will follow. The action should be on the ground and not...
