After Terbela Dam no big dams have been constructed with large power producing capacity. At least these small power generating units (less than 1000 MW) are better than nothing.
Well said. These were historic mistakes with consequences. At least Pakistan is building Jinnah Naval base in Ormara. It should serve our national interests. Most of our navy will be shifted there when it is completed.
Let them spy on my PDF comments. They are meant for other PDF members. They won't find anything of interest. There is no offensive or incriminating material in my posts. After a while they will get bored and move on to something of their interest. I have nothing to worry about.
If only the Mughal empire had some one of Barbarossa calibre, the history of the India would have been different. The Mughals ignored sea power with devastating consequences.
Maldives is a friendly country. If they ask us for help in any matter it is an honour for us to help them. We should assist them to the best of our ability. When Pakistan was created in 1947, it was one of the poorest countries of the world. Since then as a nation we have been gradually building...
A pragmatic analysis. Europe should think of its own interest instead of playing second fiddle to USA. If Europe follows USA it surely will be a loser in this game of geopolitics.
I have a facebook account and a PDF account. I am happy with both of them, They both are giving excellent service. If the management of facebook can access my account it is fine with me as I don't have any thing in my account which can cause me damage. Same goes for PDF.

I also hope that in future PAF will protect it's assets very carefully. It was terrorist proxies who did the damage at Kamra. The Breguet Atlantique was shot down by Indians when it was flying to close to the Indian border or It might have crossed in to Indian border. I saw a video on TV about...
Heads of state do visit other countries in their national interest. It is routine international diplomacy. I am sure Maldivian head of state knows his national interest and is acting for the best of his tiny island country.
You don't have to surrender anything. Your cellphone is your personal property and nobody can take that away from you. Even your SIM stays with you. If you don't give your thumb print, the it will be blocked and you won't be able to use it. I hope this clears your confusion.
The wire used to fly kites in some cases is dipped in a paste containing crushed glass. When a kite which has been cut and is drifting freely touches some one neck who is going on a motorbike, it is as good as a knife. I have read a lot of depressing stories of people dying due to stray kite...
A good step by our government. When I bought my SIM, I bought at the company sales office in my name. So it took me an instant to get my SIM verified and thumb imprint taken while there was a long line of people with unregistered SIMs. It certainly helps doing things proper way.
