It is said that a T90A was hit by a TOW2A or BGM-71D/E with an official armour-piercing capability of 920 mm of steel behind ERA. And the turret was Intact!
Somewhere I read that T90MS anti AP capacity is upto 1300mm.
DU should be banned for non-nuclear warfare as the affects are more like Nuclear Warheads on a smaller scale. Their radioactivity remains with dust for billions years and also water soluble. Socities around the battle field likely to pay very high cost for a long time. BAN DU......
DU theorically cant go through T90AM ERA. And M1s are known to be heavy, fuel guzzling and support prone beast. During operation desert storm all that M1 killed was old era relics T72s. Wish to see M1 vs T90 real battle!
Though M1 sensors are believed to be superior than T90s. And in real battle...
I wonder what was wrong with our MBT 2000. Pakistan also was dissatistied with the MBT 3000 performance. I found a link here which shows some quality issues with Chinese T 96B tanks. check-

Very Interesting, as India ACTUALLY trying to counter Beijing's offer to train Bangladesh submarine crews at its base on Hainan Island. Thought it was a first hand offer from India to train our sub crews at Visakhapatnam. So the real intention is just to counter China. Chicky!
As to my knowledge T14 Armata is not on the export market yet. Also its not a proven one yet. As we also buy only a Few at a time, Russia would not be very interested either.
I thought BD had a good chance with MBT 3000. But in a PK forum its said that Pakistan amry was not satisfied with their MBT 3000 given by the Chinese for testing. They choose T99.. type instead.
Negotiations are mentioned to be in 2017 with the likely procurement in 2018.
Although T90 MS is a really awesome one...given its proven battle-tested Russian platform.
