Are you stupid? Read my post. I said I know it did. Just wanted to know the year and whether the certification was done in China or Pakistan.

That doesnt sound right. It could be an internal detail for PAF, but since China and Pakistan are both angling for export orders, I think these certifications would be important , if not necessary.

I dont mean every single plane to be FOCed. I wanted to know which year JF 17 as a new platform got its FOC certification and if it was done in China or in Pakistan

Sorry if I am asking a wrong question. I understand that JF 17 is in operational status at this time. However it entered that status long before everything got integrated. I remember when the 1st squadron was raised in 2010 (I think), it could not fire BVR missiles and had very basic avionics...

reminds me of a lawsuite in the US. A burglar entered the house of a homeowner while he was traveling with an intention to steal. Due to bad lighting and snow in the backyard, he slipped and broke his hip. He then sued the homeowner for unsafe premises causing injury . Same is with Pakistan...

Thanks.. Though I do remember that till a couple years back, JF 17 was not yet integrated with BVRs and a lot of avionic improvements were still WIP. And it wasnt FOCed till then. Just wanted to know which year it got its FOC certification and which PAF/Pakistani agency did the honors.
