Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

At the same time, I do trust the silent service to come through and do their job well. Keeping my fingers crossed. =)

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

The first deployment of J-10 will clarify a lot about their position within the force.

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

What I find interesting is that most of the attention, at least publicly (here) only restricted at surface fleet / tonnage, while real work is all done elsewhere.

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

Block 52 has its own role to play, but tip of the spear thing will go to 10Cs. The long sticks are being added to the arsenal for a good reason.

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

The bit about J10Cs being roughly equivalent of Block 52s is funny. That's all. =)

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

I believe they’d be called J-10 in PAF service.

Just hope they don’t call it F-10. Too many Islamabadi memes. :)

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

It just didn’t make any sense for PAF to wait for the Chinese to offer a superior configuration of J-10 and opt for an inferior engine. Even without background knowledge. It made zero sense.

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

Thankfully the Chinese engine got confirmed. Next I believe you’d find that IRST on it too. :) The bird didn’t lose any systems for Pak.

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

You're mixing their future capability with Pakistan's current capacity. What makes you believe that Pakistan will not increase the interdiction range?

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

Pakistan's capacity to interdict Indian ships 1000 km away from its coast, exists as I write these lines. Indian capacity to attack Pakistani cities from that distance will come into play at some point in future, by which Pakistan's newer unmanned and manned underwater and surface options would...

PAF J-10C News, Updates and Discussion

That won't be surprising, since PA has received SH-15 / PCL181 from existing PLA stocks, and about a couple of other systems were received from direct PLA stock. This also points to the fact that Pakistan will receive the original and not export version of PL15.

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

Pakistan's current capacity enables it to take out targets 1000 km out in the sea, from a mix of systems. Given the capability increase in the works under water, manned and unmanned, India would find it hard to venture in regular WIOR region, must less target all main cities from 'Waters of...

COAS Qamar javed Bajwa official visit to the USA

All of this tech and weaponry is with Pakistan as of today and will continue to safeguard Pakistan for decades in the future. I am not sure what your argument is supposed to mean in this instance?

COAS Qamar javed Bajwa official visit to the USA

US continues to support Pakistan's radars, F-16 fleet (weapons, avionics updates, repairs, engine spares), M113 spares, engines for ships, spares for Cobras, spares for P3C fleet, spares and repair services for C-130 fleet. So why would Pakistani military not keep all channels open with the...

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

A majority of that improvement within is owed to the help we got from outside, no one is now willing to export technology to Pakistan any more - which is why the lead will suffer. At least until the Chinese get better and get willing to share a portion of that with Pak.
