Paes-Vardhan crashed out after a spirited display against the second seeded pair. But , I felt Paes-Bopanna pair would have been best for India. Vardhan lacks the finishing skill while Boppana is good at it. @TW...Deepika lost out. Exit of the third medal hopes after Shiva and woman recurve team.

That is the logical solution. otherwise some pairs may progress without winning any match. For example these expelled pairs are from group A and C where Canada and South Africa respectively haven't won any match...now hope for the best... And there is a third possibility that the QFs will be...

But, it is not confirmed whether Indian pairs will progress! Indian team protested against Japan vs Taipe match. If four pairs are expelled; pairs from their groups will progress...though I am not sure.

I like his approach...that can unsettle even the top boxers...if you remember the video I posted -the bout between Devendro and a South Korean boxer who is ranked 2. The Korean was dropped twice but managed to win...and even there the score was bit controversial.

But, I think they are not progressing to the next round :( They had to win by 13 points but they won by 11 points (21-15, 21-16).
