You might not view Sharia Law with trepidation, but the rest of the world, and especially your big neighbour in the east, would be extremely anxious to prevent this disastrous retrogression.
^I think the delays have to do with the structure of the system. Sharia laws are based on a code, whereas the civil courts rely on common law - which requires long drawn procedures based on precedents.
Well the eastern provinces (Punjab and Sindh) are quite green, especially along the rivers.

That's because its not an important piece of news per se. Many individuals are declared terrorists by the US, and none of them have news stories printed about it. TOI probably dug up this instance because it was related to Samjhauta bombings.
What's going on ? Didn't you read the reports, or are you suggesting that the news reports dated to before the terror attacks suddenly appeared out of thin air?
