^I think the delays have to do with the structure of the system. Sharia laws are based on a code, whereas the civil courts rely on common law - which requires long drawn procedures based on precedents.

Well the eastern provinces (Punjab and Sindh) are quite green, especially along the rivers. The western parts are desert areas. Since that's where the conflict is going on, you get to see them the most :)

That's because its not an important piece of news per se. Many individuals are declared terrorists by the US, and none of them have news stories printed about it. TOI probably dug up this instance because it was related to Samjhauta bombings.
