    Pakistan, Russia ‘vulnerable to N-theft’

Fatalities have occurred during live fire exercises. People being at the wrong place at the wrong time. In my case and not necessarily to do with nukes but CFB Lhars is the home of Canadian CF-104s. I'll let you do the research of just what armaments they have. HINT: They carry no guns nor...

    Pakistan, Russia ‘vulnerable to N-theft’

We knew when the Soviets were carrying out drills and they us. In fact, we've lost people in these drills and so have they. That is not the point. The point is the article has identified weaknesses. None of you questioned the validity. Can any of you point to exercises where such was...

Easiest way to avoid IEDs. Get off the roads.

    Pakistan, Russia ‘vulnerable to N-theft’

Here's a question for you all. When was the last time any of the nuclear facilities had a drill?

    Afghanistan vs Iraq

And what a load of crock he wrote. Popular support (or lack thereof) does not translate to a nation's approval or condemnation of the event. Canada and the UK clearly has not condemned the Iraq War no matter how many petitions were signed. He's suggesting that such condemnation is inherent with...

China’s Military Tests Real-Time Data System

Neo is right 2nd-In-Command. He's the guy who makes sure the sub-ordinate unit gets their orders and in charge of the unit's supply needs from the higher echelon. Usually, he's not with the unit but with the parent HQ organizing the unit's supplies.

Pakistan's Special Operations Forces: SSG | SSGN | SSW | SOW | SOG

That's my understanding too. However, from my contacts, it would seemed the slots are reserved for former serving members. You mind expanding on that? My contacts suggest that 21SAS and 23SAS fit within a battle group. 22SAS (and JTF II for that matter) does not.

Pakistan's Special Operations Forces: SSG | SSGN | SSW | SOW | SOG

21SAS and 23SAS are Territorial Army regiments. Those qualified to join are former infantry recee as well as former SAS members. These are brigade recee elements more than the traditional irregular warfare 22SAS are famous for.

Pakistan's Special Operations Forces: SSG | SSGN | SSW | SOW | SOG

They were either former 22SAS or from one of the other SAS regiments. 22SAS members (as well as the SBS) are not allowed to identify themselves as of that regiment.

    New Persian fighter Sagahe

No sale of said kit has been reported by Russia. Again, no indication that they have come close to the F-14 kit That is not a valid assumption. We have no evidence that they've even mated different missiles to different targeting systems. Without the interface kits, a Russian missile will not...

China’s Military Tests Real-Time Data System

And what the hell is the 2IC doing, twiddling his thumbs?

    New Persian fighter Sagahe

The Iranians had the PHOENIX AAM that they've used in the Iran-Iraq War. I've seen nothing to indicate that they even come close to duplicating the radar, let alone the entire kit.

They were stronger with the F-14.

Pakistan to host anti-nuclear conference on Dec 8-9

They are the only nuclear weapons states who have documented proof that they are disarming as required by the NPT. May not be as fast as everybody likes (including those who would love to use nukes on either one) but they are obeying the letter of the NPT.

Pakistan to host anti-nuclear conference on Dec 8-9

Russia and the US has done so by treaty and by verifiable treaty. Then you have not understood the publications. The supporting evidence is also provided. In the case of China, the number of missile brigades and exercises and available nuclear devilery aircrafts supports the Chinese claim.

Pakistan to host anti-nuclear conference on Dec 8-9

I doubt that very much. The nukes are under civilian storage and security away from the delivery platforms, ie under Central Military Commission control. The delivery platforms are under the 2nd Artillery Force control. All their nuclear exercises have been of a retaliatory nature, ie finding...

Why China before the UK and France? She has the smallest arsenal of the N5.

40 female cadets joining PMA from Oct: VCOAS

Women are not allowed to serve in the Combat Arms in the US. The same goes for the Russians. While the Combat Arms are opened to women in both the British and Canadian Armies, most are staying because of the quota, not because there's no one better to replace them. Where there is competition to...
