    Islamophobia [Dedicated Thread]

Its a comedy. and its pretty funny if you have a sense of humor. Religious or not. "extreme indecent words" lol you make it sound so dirty. It is actually not that offensive at all. I have been told by religious people that they thought it was pretty funny too. To put this comedy movie...

Interpol issued arrest warrant for WikiLeaks chief as chaos spreads

I am very skeptical about these accusations and while I regard people speculating on his assassination as hysterical, I also think that these rape accusations right after the Pentagon release are a little to convenient.

Pakistan and North Korea live on the edge

Interesting, especially the part about rewarding bad behavior comes to mind very prevalently in the current DRC crisis. It is the completely wrong message to send now to engage in talks or worse trying to "bribe" DRC out of its continues aggression and thereby asking for more. Similarly the...

How come Japan is not capable to build large Jets ?

The answer is simply one of globalisation which encourages "niche" economic specialisation to a certain extent. The Japanese have there niche in cars, high-tech entertainment and pharmaceutical products etc. They could certainly develope large jets of their own but project like the A-380 cost...

Time for India to be a better neighbour

I think India is a much better neighbour than Pakistan could wish for given what Pakistans major export seems to be these days.. Other countries would probably have pursued harsh retaliatory if covert actions after the mumbai incident. (lets say China and Russia for instance) Therefore, how...

Is India rapidly closing towards being a SuperPower?

Is India becoming a superpower? Well, that is an interesting question, yet to me the more interesting underlying question is how is global power distribution changing as a whole. And it clearly is moving away from the historically unusual situation of a single superpower to a more multipolar...

Learning From The Example Of Germany

Do the research yourself. This is so common knowledge and most Chinese people living in China will readily admit it.. If you are not able to Google, then don't believe me, doesn't change the facts. There are hundreds of articles on it. I gave an example for less diversified economies in...

Iran donates $25 million to Turkey's ruling party

Hm, that is very discomforting. I feel sad for the Turkish people and what Erdogan and others might be doing with this proud Kemalist and secular country. Will Attatürks vision, that has made Turkey the most successful muslim country, be subverted? Maybe someone here who lives in Turkey...

Learning From The Example Of Germany

Well I disagree, that is a big worry for many corporations in Germany because corporate espionage is rampant. Also the Chinese Government actually counts on that involuntary "technology transfer" as you can read in their strategy and we have little legal tools to combat that.
