Top 10 most peaceful countries of 2011

Yes definitely, your score in that category is the main difference, as far as I can tell. And it is well deserved. We sell A LOT of weapons... only the US, Russia and China sell more as far as I know. Good on the Czechs that they are so peaceful, I am going to Prague this year for a couple of...

Top 10 most peaceful countries of 2011

Rank 15 for Germany, not bad, not bad at all. :) Once we get out of Afghanistan, which will happen in 3 years at the latest, we might gain some additional ranks!

The Muslim Brotherhood becomes a legal Party

I edited the one sentence to make it less general.. I was making fun of Aeronaut in a cynical way for his insulting insinuations. It was over the top, I apologize. The rest of the post however is as nuanced as need be on the internet... The facts are Hamas is very similar in ideology...

Iran protests FIFA ban on women's team

I feel bad for the players although from a sports perspective it is not really a loss.. ^^ Our Womens soccer team is unbeatable anyway! ;) (apparently they won 8/10 last world cups, I haven't watched their games to be honest) I'm sure Iran will not have this medieval government for much...

The Muslim Brotherhood becomes a legal Party

Must be very hard for you to pretend to be even more stupid than you are, but good job! My parents weren't even born when Hitler was already dead. So i voted as much for him as you did. I know some people are big fans of Hitler and very envious of Germans for "producing" him. Unlike...

The Muslim Brotherhood becomes a legal Party

Dangerous move, if we look at what Hamas (granted, they are more radical then MB) did in Gaza (Massacaring all opposition Fatah) but maybe itll help to introduce them into the political process in a non-violent way.

British universities complacent on religious extremists: Minister

I wish you were right on the "i does not matter which Religion they are"... Reality tells a different tale though. But you are right that Britain has burdened themselves with this "responsibility" and needs to deal with it.

British universities complacent on religious extremists: Minister

Because they are all immigrants or children of immigrants from Islamic countries and they are Muslims themselves. There is nothing unique about them living in the UK since it is a worldwide phenomenon. However I agree that the UK is completely slacking when it comes to dealing with it properly.

    X-Men First Class

Wolverine was a big mess indeed, I didn't think the third one was THAT bad, but I sincerely hope this one is gonna be alot better than the last 2. I think I liked the 2nd one best so far. :)

Ukrainian way to fight corruption (WARNING Semi-Naked women)

This has been on the news here a month or so ago. Pretty nice although I don't think it is an effective way of protest since men think "BOOOBS" and forget what the protest was about... You have almost 5.000 posts on a pakistani defence forum.. maybe you should take it easy and...

ISRAEL'S PR VICTORY SHAMES NEWS BROADCASTERS

Israel has not had a "PR victory" in a looong time. Absurd title. The MM incident is the best example of how successful anti-Israel propaganda is in recent years. Even video proof can't change the negativity generated by the spin that was but on that incident..

German chancellor lands late in India after Iran blocks plane

You have a strange definition of "poor", I guess you never been to Germany... But yeah, thanks for the 'advice' Mr. Yugoslavia aka. the country that doesn't exist anymore.. There is really a lot we can learn from you I am sure.

German chancellor lands late in India after Iran blocks plane

Unnecessary and weird insult. Although no one, even here in Germany, really cares to be honest... but it certainly will not help the diplomatic climate.

Germany to shut down Nuclear Reactors by 2022

Although you are right about the hysteria, renewables still make sense. And 2022 is not an unrealistic goal i think. as you may know this was done by the conservative government. so they might actually steal a lot of impetus from the stupid green party, which i dislike for many reasons but...

Germany to shut down Nuclear Reactors by 2022

I like it. I think 2022 is a realistic goal. however we need to be careful to keep cost down to make it socially acceptable to people. Cant type a lot cause i broke my right hand..:frown:

The US & NATO forces have made Afghanistan less safer

It seems more an more obvious that we can't bring peace and progress to a people that have a "fighting season".. Germany should get out, our army isn't well trained for this environment anyway and we can't keep wasting lives and massive amounts of money on this seemingly hopeless endeavor.. I...

Islam is a religion of peace not terrorism : Zardari

It does not at all. That is highly flawed logic. The first utterance common among Nazis is or rather was "Heil" which means something like "Bless you" or "May you be healthy" or "may good fortune happen to you". By your logic the core tenant of Nazism must be health... oO Greetings are...
