Social index comes only after economic index improves. What these people need is pure hard economic development for a decade. That would lead to disposable income. Around this time social impact projects would also bear greater results because of enhanced economic activity.
@nair - Also I think that physical Infrastructure creation should be the absolute cornerstone of these states. It will be the key to turning them around.
@nair - Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh have moved out of BIMARU index. Their growth has been quite good.
We have to focus work on Bihar, Jharkhand, UP and Chhatisgarh now. These are the lagging states economically and socially in India.
