We would hopefully do this too. We have already stated our goal to break into the top 50 rankings of Ease of Doing Business report by 2019. That is much above China. We started a couple of years back, our ranking in 2014 was 142 out of 183 countries. At this point Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc also...

Social index comes only after economic index improves. What these people need is pure hard economic development for a decade. That would lead to disposable income. Around this time social impact projects would also bear greater results because of enhanced economic activity.

@nair - Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh have moved out of BIMARU index. Their growth has been quite good. We have to focus work on Bihar, Jharkhand, UP and Chhatisgarh now. These are the lagging states economically and socially in India.
