Babur and Ra'ad going nuclear capable

An uranium based bomb is a lot bigger and heavier. So you either have less range uranium or big range plutonium. Since range is a big issue when it comes to nukes you do not have uranium based versions.

Replacement of Pakistan Army's G-3 Rifles.

I think in Pakistani war situation you better have the 7.62. You need raw power to eliminate opposition. Even western armies complain about that they need to shoot more then once to eliminate target. It is less weight and handy but you need more to do the same. And the range is less. I would go...

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

According to original delivery schedule the plane is to be delivered in january 2011. It was the first to be tested and they probably have to refit it (remove the testing equipment) and probably doing some maintenance to make it brand new again. There is no strange or new development.

New MRTT idea for refueling our F-16s

It matters what the range (flight time) is of the plane but the most important is the capacity... Il78 is one of the largest capacity available. And if you are in war with the huge opponent then you need that capacity. It, the il78, can transformed into transport in no time....

I am still a bit surprised we do not use satcom in JF17. Ok, we do not have it. We have hardly strategic depth... But still, it could be far more difficult to counter and you could go for deep strike. The satcom on the J10/FC20 is that white dis behind the cockpit. I think they have a...

I think it is obvious that there are technologies that go from the one to the other. The engineers, projectmanagers and others are located in the same area and the same factories. But I think it is a blessing for the smallest (JF17) to be allowed to get better and better technologies. Only the...

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 4]

I think the ZDk03 and Erieye has aesa that is beyond any fighterjet will posses. Since that is linked with other planes I think the radar is not an extremely big issue for PAF. Add to that ground based AESA radars in Pakistan. So even if they add a cheap short range AESA for JF17 (which is...
