So far there are no news reports from the BBC,Any British media outlets like the Guardian or not even any amnesty international reports on it.
Considering that we have just tripled arms exports to Bahrain, it is unlikely we would have stopped sending them to Bangladesh and the fact that...

....Can you please Indicate where i mentioned we want to tackle the IN?
Despite sayings of BD members on this forum, BN cannot Tackle IN ever. However, it serves the regions interests such as curbing piracy, being able to send better ships for UN peacekeeping.
India would rather have...
China exported weapons worth more than $2bn to different countries
Bangladesh was the second biggest Chinese arms importer globally amounting to over $350m last year.
The New York Times recently published an article, which revealed that China has established itself as a credible competitor in...

Don't expect it a new rifle in the next decade.
We recently just got the license to produce the BD-08 in 2008 and it Would be far too expensive to change it to make a new rifle in less than a decade.
Hopefully our agreement with belarus may lead to it.
Relax. Where in my post did i say we should go for them?they are way too expensive for us and impractical for our needs. However to say that India has never given us something is wrong. They may have given small gifts but it still counts.
J-10 has not been given the export approval, even...
That picture is not new, it was taken a few years ago when we were actually looking at the Aircraft. As far as i know J-10 is not being considered at all.
I have stated this before, the major problem with J-10 exports is the fact that some of them still use russian engines or an engine based...
Excuse me?? What did i say?I gave a basic observation about the Air force and Nuclear weapons. There is a major Difference between pride/Arrogance and Rational/logical thinking.
If our Military was so super, there would be no need for modernisation. We have 8 migs, they have over 20. They...
Nuclear weapons are not ideal for BD. They are expensive and incredibly dangerous for a densely packed Nation like BD...One mistake and we could literally lose a significant amount of Land and People.
It is more ideal for BD to build up conventional forces better... As stated by @madokafc...
The one your taking about in Feb 2012 was 850 million dollars...It only got changed to 1 billion dollars in Jan 2013. Even Russian experts have stated that the Loan will not be used all at once but in small orders over the next few years.
We will probably get some news before the End of...
1 billion dollars on SAM systems is too much in my opinion. We are already spending that much on the Submarine procurement.
We still have the 1 billion dollar loan from Russia which has not been spent on anything as of yet. Also taking into consideration of our agreement with belarus, we will...
Conflicting Numbers is likely just for a phycological impact on the Myanmese-They are incredibly paranoid about either us or the Thais invading them.
As far as effiecincy goes, we have a very effiecent force and even the myanmese have noticed that we can mobilise forces much quicker than they can.
With all due respect....I don't trust any BD news outlet-AL or BNP allied.
Could you please give me any foreign sources...Im sure if it involved US military Special forces, it would have been reported by more nations as a serious incident.
Strange...For a military of 3.5 billion i would expect more than 2 frigates. Their Aradu is a great ship but its old and the hamilton they got is still only armed with 76 mm gun.
Size isn't everything. I understand what you mean but their military tech and equipment is lacking. Their airforce...
Nigerians and Pakistan already have a very good defence relations and you guys train them. However I have read in beegeagle's website that the Indians are making a push for anti air missiles. Again im not familiar with their procurement methods but they sure need a hell of a lot of new...
Any UAVs in mind for BD?
I am really surprised by the lack of UAVs for the BD military. Nigeria even has some(yes i know they are richer and got them from Israel) and their military is not any better than ours.
it sounds terrible.
These "expensive things" will make our military much better. Any country would rather have have an ally that can defend itself then one that needs to be helped like a little child.
Arms procurement have a political side to it, it will increase ties with China.
