2 MALE class UAV manufacturers are more than enough for our country. We need more smaller UAV manufacturers.

Armed aerostats? Why not. You just need to have specially engineered munitions for aerostats. But we still must have armed MALE class UAVs. These two may complement each other nicely.

For ISR in your own airspace, aerostats are far better option than MALE class UAVs. Much cheaper, can stay much more in the air (days), operator training costs is much lower. You just need to guard tethering stations and need many aerostats since they are not mobile.

3500 grams MTOW weight, 12 km comms radius. Go for it ;)

"Fi" will be proudly export-free. Not a single ITAR-controlled thing, not any imported know-how. Others did the mistake with ITAR-controlled components and paid the price. %95 performance with ITAR-controlled things and something like %80-85 with non-ITAR. We prefer the second option and support...

"Fi" is just the beginning. Baykar Makina is a great role model for us. Not for anti-tank but your idea will increase the casualty radius without increasing war head weight. However I prefer using more explosives instead of boosters.

The problem is everybody waits until SSM announces something. We did not. So nobody blocks new companies to do something on their own. We work with local companies/universities for many things. NIR camera is %100 Turkish r&d. We work with a local composite manufacturing company with really good...

We can adapt too. It is a game and we are the changer. First flight tomorrow. We need months of testing. You will have some VERY interesting news soon. We have more than enough support for running the company with only military products r&d.

Not so possible with AK-47s or similar rifles. At 250 meters above ground level, shooting down something with speeds more than 20 meters/second needs some mad skills.
