For an UAS with 3000 hours total flight time, a hull loss is perfectly acceptable. It means almost nothing about the quality. Get used to for such UAS accidents. More will happen and all the UAS experience the same way.

What makes YPG strong is the international support to them. Once it is gone, balance will be changed in Syria. Don't they have ATGMs to hit our tanks? They simply can't use them. All of these happening because of failed coup and restoration of international relationships. We are much stronger now.

IMO the strategy is brilliant. It was just a bait and YPG took it.

For our own airspace, using unarmed MALE class UAVs for ISR is waste of money and resources. Aerostats can stay in the air much much more, less costly to buy/maintain and offer more downlink bandwidth.
