PNS Alamgir fires a long range Anti-Submarine Rocket. The rocket assisted launch enables a Mk-46 torpedo to be delivered at ranges of upto 5 nautical miles from the firing vessel. The rocket motor of the torpedo is now locally developed by the navy's weapons command.
