Sir, I have heard that Leonardo-Finmeccanica has a stake in MBDA (not controlling stake, but about 25% shares are held). Will this not effect dealings with them?
According to Prasun K. Sengupta, this is what will happen to our Candid/Midas fleet -
" Consequently, the MoD has now scrapped plans for procuring the 10 A330-220 MRTTs, and instead, by this October is expected to ink a contract with Rosoboronexport under which the IAF’s existing six IL-78MKI...
That NVG mount looks odd. Anyone know what model/type that is and where its from (company)?
Thanks for the vid!
EDIT: Glad to see that those Oakley-type hardknuckle gloves have finally caught up with Paras.
I think it looks somewhat like a Hunting camo...
I've always wondered this...some specialized camos worn by hunters in the US are faaaar better than usual military camo schemes. I think this is because the camo is often specially developed to suit the region/forest where it's supposed to be...
What is better?

" Not just for the MiG-29Ks, but also for the Su-30MKIs & Mi-17V-5s. Before the European/Ukrainian embargoes, United Aircraft Corp used to source various sub-systems & components directly from European &...
@Abingdonboy
I think the time is right for HAL to begin it's work on the IMRH. Right now they only got LCH and LUH in the pipeline (with work on the former mostly complete)...once LUH production starts, instead of sitting on their a$$es doing nothing but upgrades of the older choppers...HAL...
Fundamentally, there is no difference. When someone says "AWACS" they are referring specifically to the US E-3 Sentry system, which is a dome radar that provides 360-degree sweep. Other dome radars (whether rotating dome like E-3 or Static domes) include the Beriev A-50E/I Phalcon, and the...
