Why America Nuked Japan? It Was Not To End the War Or Save Lives.

Technically it was to scare the Soviets from taking over all of Europe. Either way, if it US didn't use nukes, we would have just used conventional bombs to hasten Japanese surrender. US told Japan (the aggressor) unconditional surrender or face prompt and utter destruction. Had the Japanese...

White Guy Tells How China Really is

Ok, my mistake, but my argument still holds. Everyone to some extent will classify people into ethnic group, and this is done for many reasons that can't be explained in this post because the margin is too small.

Then you think in terms of South Asians vs non South Asians. Stop accusing people of inferiority/superiority complex by how they group people. It is basic human thing to do. Also the grouping "white people" was done by white people first, other people just followed their lead.

Young Chinese students are the smartest in USA

Most classes like calculus, chemstry will more or less be the same, except the exams will be much harder in the top tier school because the professor wants a perfect bell-shaped curve. An "A" in calculus for a mediocre school might mean you have mastered 50%+ of the topic, but got an A because...

I cant answer any of those questions, but I havent touched chemistry for 4 years. Not exactly comparable, seems like JEE test you on how knowledgeable you are about general science stuff, where as IMO requires only basic math, but tests you on how good your problem solving skill is.

The title unfairly targeted India. In a competition, there will always be first place and last place. A math competition shouldn't be used as an ideological weapon

If you are an international chinese graduate student, I wouldn't be surprised if you can do it. Yes, those material should be covered, but i'd imagine that it wouldn't be covered in sufficient detail. Those are semester long classes each. Also, I think the difficulty of the test lies in your ability to retain all the information from every math class that you took. As an engineering...

An electric engineering student will know about 75% of the test (doesn't mean he'll score perfect on that 75%). Calculus is 50%, and linear algebra is 25%, but the other 25% are miscellaneous math topics such as group theory, topology, logic, analysis, combinatorics, topics that engineering...

IMO it is a culture thing. Indians don't care enough about international prestige so they don't invest money into this sort of things. Sorry but your answer is incorrect. The sequence a_n is arbitrary, so you can't assume a_0 = 0, a_1 = 1, ect. You have to prove that for any arbitrary strictly monotonically increasing sequence of positive integers, there exists a natural number n>1, such that ... ect Which GRE test are...

China did not start seriously training until post Mao era, when it became clear that they were a rising power.
