As far I know TLC will not induct a land launched Variant of SOM, they will probably induct Gezgin which is an Equavilent of The Tomahawk LACM. Gezgin will be strategic Cruise Missile with an Range from 1500 - 2500 km.
BTW: the Pictures don't show SOM, it show the land launched Taurus Variant !
That's right, but the Situation were more worse when they had deployed S-300 + Mirage 2000 with Lang Range Scalp on Cyprus. The Progress in our defence Industry is a big Advantage for Turkey over Greece, SOM with Kale-3500 and 500 km Range can reach every important Target in Greece without TurAF...
According to MTCR it is even forbidden for the Germans, what would the Europeans say if Turkey Export SOM Variant with 500 km to an noth african State ?
In Phase 8 it look like we go for a two Engined UCAV which is a greater Plattform than Taranis or other demonstrators. It will have more Payload and Fuel Capacity, which mean more Range !
Ada Class is deigned to fullfill ASW Duties within a Naval Group who enter the Aegean Envirement, Air defence will be Conducted by Gabya or Barbaros Class !
It have nothing to do with an Invasion, more with rapid reaction like Hurshid mentioned. The People in Central/south Asia and Africa are our Brothers, we need to put Weight in these Regions to Change the Region for our and their Favor !
The M-60 can easyly be knock out even by the simplest Variants of RPG-7. ISIS, PYD & other have far more advanced AT Weapons than RPG-7, need more advanced armour and this mean MBT active Protections Systems !
F-16C/D Block30 will undergo an indigenous modernisation with "Özgür" Mission Computer, so far jamming Pod, IRST and AESA Radar can be integrated. CCIP is important to extend the structural Life and bring the Avionics on the Standart of Block52+ Configuration.
They will be usefull in the aegean and Black Sea envirement. Better would be a a Design with similar Capabillities like SMX-26, which have Weapons for self defence. Just for the Beginning it's enough !
