Indian diplomat in Kabul Brig. SK Narain expelled for rapinng Afghan girl

There is nothing on this anywhere except a few Pakistani news outlets, seems to me like another instance of propaganda from ISPR through Pakistani media like the fake Wikileaks.

The UK's EU referendum: All you need to know

It's a very tight race and as of now "Leave" is winning. If the final result is to leave EU but Scotland votes to remain in it, I expect another independence referendum in Scotland soon and this time SNP would have a stronger case. BTW this made me laugh

    Raghuram Rajan is out

The issue is of a general trend of appointing people without right credentials to important positions, starting with the HRD minister, it is not just about one particular institution. Having said that I do believe that the govt will appoint a deserving candidate as RBI governor given the kind of...

India not opposed to Pakistan's membership of Nuclear Suppliers Group: Swaraj

This is why you guys suck in diplomacy, you see everything from your "army-fed" macho black and white point of view. This is a brilliant move from India, especially if it convinces China to support India's bid. Pakistan has no chance of getting the membership anytime soon, with or without...

    Raghuram Rajan is out

Even people who don't talk about politics generally are starting to get befuddled by this govt's appointments.

Gulbarg Massacre: Ehsan Jafri's Firing Was Catalyst For Mob, Says Judge

So you want me to engage in a hypothetical and guess. How would I know why they might have lied? Is this the first time someone lied in India? There could be any reason, hope for a better judgement, pressure, intimidation anything. I do not know. That does not change my opinion on the overall...

Delhi Public School bars Muslim teacher from wearing burqa, triggers huge controversy

Good decision. It is a private school. If you don't like their rules, there are other options.

Gulbarg Massacre: Ehsan Jafri's Firing Was Catalyst For Mob, Says Judge

Sir, the judgement made no sense to this evil sickular and that's what I pointed out. Let's accept that he did fire but even then the fact that the court declared it a spontaneous act of violence made no logical sense to this libtard. Maybe it was due to lack of evidence but I find it hard to...

India not opposed to Pak membership of NSG : Sushma Swaraj

I think it is a brilliant idea if that's what it takes to get China in India's favor. Pakistan is not going to get it anyway.

Except that the said tea seller spent decades in public life learning his craft before becoming CM/PM unlike the TV actress but let's ignore that. Anyway let's move on.

Gulbarg Massacre: Ehsan Jafri's Firing Was Catalyst For Mob, Says Judge

So first they found that there was no political conspiracy and now this (the mob just gathered there for chai-biscuit without any pre-planned motive and spontaneously killed 60+ people due to the firing). Expecting a clean chit to Amit Shah in the murder case soon. :)

    Raghuram Rajan is out

I was hoping for a second term for him. But if you go back and watch Arun Shourie's interviews, this decision makes sense. Raghuram Rajan was not a yes man of the govt. Modi is not very kind to such people.

How exactly does that justify the appointment of a TV actress without an iota of experience in the education sector (or any sector for that matter) as HRD minister? I have discussed this at length in the past, don't want to repeat it again. I was not particularly looking for degrees from fancy...
