While I did not vote for the PPP last time, and don't plan to change my affiliation anytime soon, I do not take offence when other people come up with such comments.
Pakistan postcard part one: Sight
By Elmira Bayrasli | Published: October 25, 2010
A week ago, I visited what is supposedly one of the most dangerous places in the world: Pakistan. While I do believe the country has serious security concerns, the only threat I came up against was traffic...
This isn't a satire in any way. There isn't a form of satire where you write this stuff. Problem is the aura of moral superiority that is contradicting what he saw. Can't reconcile the fact that somebody he considers morally vile and despicable is altruistic. Since altruism and humanism are...
You don't write homophobic, misogynisyic, racist scandalous rants to make that point. Sahab ki pait ki darhi bahir a gayi. I think she declined the mullah boy an interview and he's stuck with his flotzilla image. About the title, I think he deserves it. Any mod disagreeing can change it, no ego...
If you had any respect for this flotilla hunk, you are about to lose it.

Update 2 : Better takedown posted.

I haven't read about any PPP workers being killed. Besides hypothesizing that PPP is a "hidden hand" and fueling the crisis, there is little to suggest that there is an on-ground PPP-MQM tussle.
MQM wants monopoly over an entire city. It is having trouble doing so. It's a professional blackmailing party and opposing it's monopoly and trying to vie for influence are the ANP and PPP. They have their own areas in the city that the MQM cannot penetrate politically.
The least common...
Talking about land reform while not mentioning let alone debating the Qazalbash Waqf case and it's fallout is immoral. Playing the anti-feudal card without any substantiative bill is mere rhetoric and pleases the illiterate "educated" people of this country.
Jinnah did not have any formal graduation degree. In fact he had no formal schooling beyond matriculation. He was called to bar at Lincoln's Inn and there was no educational requirement and legal aides learnt the law as they worked in the offices of lawyers and worked their way through exams...
