2016年7月,翎客航天在国内首次实现了单发动机矢量控制的火箭悬停飞行试验,包括变推力发动机、飞行控制系统、伺服机构等在内的关键分系统完全自主研制。悬停飞行技术是火箭回收和重复使用最关键的核心技术之一,也是未来实现探月和登火必不可少的途径,目前全世界范围内掌握该项技术的公司和研究机构不超过10家,包括SpaceX和蓝色起源等。
