We have been going downhill since 2016. From 8.5% to 5% to 2%. We were going downhill even before Covid strikes. But Covid will surely put SA another 5-7 years behind in achieving middle income status countries.

There are 2 things here. India is a far bigger country than Pakistan with 1.3 billion vs 220 million. India has much better medical infrastructure than pakistan, hence reporting is more accurate. Lastly, celebrating deaths is pathetic. The OP should be ashamed for making a thread like this.
