What would you like to have in the JF-17

The belly redesign work is part of blk 3.two embedded hp to carry sd10 are on the charts. Chin pod too. In addition to these hp my wish list asks for more which are possible not unrealistic I. E near wing tips under the wings. There is space available for it. I don't think resetting the...

What would you like to have in the JF-17

Belly of Jf17 as compared to gripen seems to be waisted a lot. For Block 3 we've heard to have a redesigned belly for 2 embedded hard points for aoa missiles. One hp under chin for carrying pod. If two more hp under wings for missiles near wing tips are made. It completes the design as expected.

Russian think tank calls for sale of Su-35 fighters to Pakistan

Some news from a credible source sujjest that Paf is finally going again for J10 C type as a final replacement for its F7 and Mirage. The new Cas has sent Paf personal to make it final. The Paf will finalise the deal by December. As new government will allow it at a later stage. Probably that's...

Pakistan discusses Su-35, S-400, T-90 MBT purchase with Russia.

The real problem with not buying Su 35 is that Russians refused to give their Aesa radars with them, where as a J-10c with Aesa would be more capable in terms of avionics. The export model is also not with Tvc nozzles, but Tvc is not a priority for Paf.

Islamic Republic Pakistan and Islamic Iran , will manufacture weapons

Iran is well advanced in missile technology as like Pakistan. But a bit ahead from Pakistan in laser technology. Pakistan can simply sell Jf17 to them. Making new weapons would be much better by using each other's facilities available. Lacking in any field could be easily covered by learning...

    Pakistan's Pride, Enemy's Envy

Just in one case the ejection system of Su-30 worked itself during a routine flight. Both pilots were ejected without pulling the ejection cord. What sort of quality checks would have been done on a modern fighter like Su-30.

    Capabilities of PAF Dassault MIRAGE-III/V.

As far as I remember Mirage F-1 were a back up plan if thunder program fails or drop, due to non availability of engines or other key parts.

    Capabilities of PAF Dassault MIRAGE-III/V.

Price must have been the major factor as French are the most expensive sellers in world. Jf17 was just allocated $500 million in all for the final product. French might have asked more than that for just copy rights or licence. Production line separate in billions.

    Aselpod on Jf17 spotted

Well most interesting part was chin based hard point. Might be developing and be showed after complete testing and evaluation. Just showed the pod for initial testing point, centre line. Still if centre line remains the only point job can still be done easily with wing points.

A first for the PAF ? JF-17 Elephant Walk.

If Ws-13e is a stable engine and meets all safety and performance parameters then (keeping in mind chinese quality) J-10c could me perfect affordable choice, it's been estimated equal to FA-18E hornet by pentagon. Even an 19/20 to it would be force multiplier like F-16s. Why to go for usedF16s...

Pakistan Buying Jets from China (Old story or New Development)

New Ambitions are set when new teams are brought up. As the new Air chief is there he must be having something new in his mind. He could be a quick decision maker and might address current problems of PAF and not sighting 15 years ahead as priority. Immediate decision is required as Raffales...

    PAF Simply The Next Level

Sniper pods and Aselon pods are in black tone. The pod I am talking about is in white color and chinese pods r usually in white color. It's not WMD 7 for sure. The time of that pic is about 7-8 months back when asel pods were not here. If I can guess right it's chinese yings-3 type pod and...

PAKISTAN’S MIRAGES: SPECIALISTS ENDURING OUT OF NECESSITY

PAF would never buy any outdated designs, as it's maintenance and overhaul facilities would also be outdated and scrap. Mirages had a long history starting from brand new and buying used one were no big difference. JH-7As have British engines who's availability is extremely doubtfull, Tornados...

150th JF-17 Rolls out of PAC

We'll 150 if achieved would have been announced as 100 were. The only logic comes out to be that all block 1 of 50 aircrafts have been upgraded completely to blk2 standard and the last bird having serial number 1-50 called 150 is also done with.
