I have lived in the US almost all my life and I simply do not see what you see. You are missing the wood for the trees. Yes, there are kids who take red pill and blue pill.. But I am pretty sure that Pakistan and Afghanistan have at least as high, if not higher, percentage of kids on drugs...

So that $17 is the cost of refining the crude right? We can't use unrefined oil. I am told there are no suitable refineries for Russian crude in Pakistan. So what is wrong in paying for it to be refined? As for whether we are actually saving money ...maybe not a lot. I am more concerned...

This is cool. You can hear the cadence of the modern successor languages in the ancient languages except for Egyptian and Phoenician. Those languages seem to have completely sank without a trace. I guess the conquest of those people must have been the most complete.
