Sigh. You missed the point completely. I did not say anything about the "spirit of justice" I used the word "spirit", to refer to the spirit of my answer, my response, my post. I said that I agree with you in spirit, although the quantum of compensation can be debated.
The rest of your post...
I typed out a sentence more about disagreeing with the quantum, but thought it would be unnecessary. The spirit is what is important. Should it be 1 million, or 1.1 million? There is no "right" answer.
But the fact is that you should be set free, and compensated for any unnecessary jail time...
What should happen to you, if you are falsely accused of rape?
Note: Obviously I don't know if this man was guilty or innocent. That is precisely why a proper trial is needed.
The trick in that one is that it makes you focus all your attention onto the "puzzle". So when it happens, you get all the more startled.
BTW, in exorcist 3:
AFAIK, the upgrades did not involve airframe changes. Only the addition of radars, electronics upgrade, ability to fire short range A2A missiles.
Probably not.
The best one was the "scary maze" game. Anybdy who hasn't played it, do so. Or just watch videos of people doing so.
No, it wasn't for a mistake - it would happen at a certain point. It was brilliant, how they thought it up.
