FBI accuses wealthy parents, including celebrities, in college-entrance bribery scheme

I put "donations" in quotes because often these donations are given with certain conditions or expectations, which may include acceptance of your son or daughter into the school. This quid pro quo turns a donation into a bribe. If you think this does not happen in the US, then you're hopelessly...

Pakistan’s F-16s Battled Soviet Jets—and Shot Down the Future Vice President of Russia

I was referring to this passage, "Some sources claim the PAF shot down at least a dozen more aircraft during the Soviet war in Afghanistan which ostensibly were not formally credited because they involved violations of Afghan airspace."

Pakistan’s F-16s Battled Soviet Jets—and Shot Down the Future Vice President of Russia

I was not aware that the PAF was running sorties inside Afghanistan, and that we engaged the Soviets in the air so many times. Knowledgeable members of the forum, are these accounts accurate?

Mullah Omar lived short walk from US Base

The Afghan "government", and the US arny/administration are incompetent, or complicit. Let's wait and see, as opposed to what? In this world, not everyone gets what they deserve. Some suffer injustices, while others literally get away with murder.

FBI accuses wealthy parents, including celebrities, in college-entrance bribery scheme

Its interesting how all the focus of the media is on the people giving the bribes. There is relatively little talk of the universities and other institutions who allow administrators to accept bribes, and often actively solicit "donations". ALL of these so called Ivy League, Big 10, etc are...

Enough With The Indian Mig-21 Bison Versus Pakistani F-16 Viper Bullshit

I think you meant "implying", not "implementing". I agree with your assessment of the article. But between the lines, he is also saying that the PAF brought down a highly capable plane (actually two of them). That speaks to PAF's effectiveness and capability. Pakistanis would be remiss to...

Petition for Nomination of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan for the Nobel Peace Prize

The Nobel prize has no credibility. It’s a political and propaganda tool, much like many other prizes, awards, rankings, ratings, and lists. It promotes an inferiority complex among people who crave acceptance and validation of certain others. It is not something we should aspire to.

Pakistan slaps India - Ummah slaps Pakistan

I think it was a mistake not to go to the OIC meet. By doing so, Pakistan handed a diplomatic win to India. By attending, Pakistan would have achieved the dual objective of denying India the perception of a win, and using the platform to promote its own narrative.
