Its for identification of friendly troops and coordination. When rebels would start a offensive, they would pick the color for their bands one day before the offensive. They did this so that enemies couldnt fool them by wearing the same color bands. This tactic isnt exclusive to the rebels btw.

Yes, also all prisoners were released before takeover which makes you wonder: who did they keep in those jails and why did YPG release them? (I doubt they did it because of compassion)

IMO this RCWS would be a better option than the Aselsan one with only 4 ATGM (knowing that Aselsan is a partner in BARQ), seems that it has a lower profile + weapon for close defense.

Just my guess, theyre avoiding promotion of the companies.
