Recently the production version of J-20 is installed indigenous WS-10 and both al-31fn and WS-10 is the interim engines for J-20 they are working WS-15 which will be in the same class as U.S. F-119 and F-135 , Russian are still struggling to make suitable engine for Su-57 idealized-30 engine
PL15 is on the menu of JFT but its not a anti AWACS missiles but I'm talking about PL-XX which will be Chinese first anti AWACS missiles in a same class of Russian R-37/K-172
J-10/J-20 and why Russia will buy Chinese military technologies when they have mature military industries but they are currently lacking $$$ can you show me similar ship in Russian Navy of Chinese type 55 in terms of fire power/sophistication/advance sensors????
Oh bhai China is working on 21th century's military technology not MID 20th century's technology and China help by Russia in term of military technology for example when developing their first active BVR SD-10/pl-12 they got help from vempel which develop R-77 for Russia and for export
for KL-7A AESA has a range of over 200 km ,its a miss conception that KLJ-7A AESA has MAX range of 170 KM, Chinese websites (AVIC) clearly state KLJ-7A has range of 170 km against the Ariel targets of 5 meter square, so against the enemy's main jets like MKI/M-2000/Mig-29/RAFALE, KLJ-7A has...
Weight wise both are quite same, Su-30 10 feet larger than F-15C Weight wise few thousand Kilograms heavier than F-15C, So i consider Su-30 have more aluminum alloys contents than F-15C
SU-30 Max takeoff weight
Max takeoff weight: 34,500 kg (76,059 lb)
F-15C Max takeoff weight
Max takeoff...
So you're catching from your eye, you're not expert on military aviation, but i believes in military experts and reliable defense website which said Su-30 series of jets is being build on aluminum alloys not STEEL
Your 1 point is achievable 2nd point is not because you suggests so many airframe/internal modifications that it could not be any more JFT because its will become structurally/mechanically different from standard JFT and Will become jf19 or something
Yes block1/2 uses same engine and overhauling is the cheap things but upgrades are not that simple if you want to have a AESA then you have to modify radomes ( nose cone) and internal space for new avionics and AESA
With current weak economic conditions of our country the upgrades of block-1 and 2 are not feasible its might be possible when our economy improves might be few years ahead our first priority is to induct as many block-3 as much we can
