The Last Persian Shah is vindicated: 1979 was a CIA ops

The CIA replaced a pro-US regime with an anti-US regime in one of the most powerful countries in the middle east? :coffee:

The plight of Over 15,000 Pakistani Detainees in Libyan Jails Requires Urgent Government Intervention

Aren't there many people in Pakistan who after decent education/training get good jobs? Is coming to Europe really worth risking your life for, or all your savings?

US and NATO grapple with critical ammo shortage for Ukraine

I believe that on some days, the Russians have been firing 60,000 shells per day. This will put figures into context. On a different thread, this makes the stocks of ammunition in Transnistria (Moldova) much more attractive to the Ukrainians. A Ukrainian push in that direction? Start a false...

Deepening deficits now make the US one of the most fiscally irresponsible nations

The mother of all crashes is on the horizon. The dollar is declining as the World currency. Can anyone see the Chinese buying US treasury bonds? They've been dumping them at the rate of $100 billion per month. There are no more buyers. Batten down the hatches and expect the worse.

US and NATO grapple with critical ammo shortage for Ukraine

I mentioned that earlier. Stocks of ex-soviet equipment in Europe have been drained to zero, there are literally no more to send. Ditto for all ammunition stocks. New production will take time, and probably will never be enough to meet demand. No matter which policy Nato adopts, Ukraine will...

South Korea has millions of artillery shells for war with North Korea, but won't send a single 1 to Ukraine because Buddhism does not allow genocide.

:omghaha: Then why make them? I believe that they have sent them, but I guess they don't want to run their stocks down to nothing.

Having failed to capture Moscow for Great Britain, British defence minister Wallace quits

This is the moron who wants the UK to go to war with Russia. No great loss. On another note, just sad to see the low standard of leadership in the West generally.

Can't vote out Zelensky (martial law), can't leave Ukraine (martial law), can't choose not to fight (martial law), the future of Ukrainian men is dark

The Vilnius summit was the end for Ukraine. No Nato membership, Nato supplies dwindling because the equipment is simply not there. Failed counter-offensive. Russia is becoming stronger, Ukraine weaker. I think that there is only one outcome in sight.

What are the rural central states of the USA like?

Every state has different geography and a different culture/mindset among its inhabitants. Great place to visit. There used to be a car delivery service I used years ago; you drive a car to deliver it to someone's house, and it can be anywhere. You pay nothing, and they give you a few days to...

Russia to deploy Sprut light tanks fitted with 125 mm gun / missile launcher to fight NATO donated Leopard and Bradley tanks

I didn't know that the most widely produced tracked vehicle in the German army was the humble 76mm self-propelled anti-tank gun.

For the First Time in History Israel Speaks out Against Human Rights Violations in Pakistan

Think positive. We all know that Pakistan can always sink further........

Russia to deploy Sprut light tanks fitted with 125 mm gun / missile launcher to fight NATO donated Leopard and Bradley tanks

The old 'self-propelled anti-tank gun'. A 125mm is for nothing other than modern main battle tanks.

Why The Western Countries Hates Xinjiang Progress?

China's progress is the flip side of the end of Western/US hegemony. The West can not accept that they can no longerdictate to the rest of the world. They think that by crushing China they can preserve their superiority.

Does China really have more poverty than India and people live a more happier and comfortable life in India than in China?

I talked to some relatives who had been to china, and had lived in Hong Kong. I was absolutely shocked when they said that the quality of life was better in China than the UK.

    Yellen arrives in Beijing.

I think that she is coming to ask China not to dump US bonds. It seems that many parts of the US government are not talking to each other. One minute a call to war with China, then a call to 'calm things down', and now a begging visit for help. I like the total lack of ceremony for her, like...

Iran enjoys self-sufficiency in radar system, missile weapons for air defence

I remember someone commenting on here that radar production is very complex, and that Pakistan is many years away from that.

    Why Pakistan Needs Language Laws

As regards modern words, how did the English develop them? When 'aircraft' or 'internet' came up, did they say, 'hold on, we have this word lying around for a thousand years, now we can finally use it?' You use the existing vocabulary and amend it for a new application.
