Jail Bharo Tehreek 'Fill the Prisons' Movement begins from Wednesday, 22 Feb 2023

Maybe Rana Sanaullah will ensure that Niazi Sahab does bismillah of this noble undertaking.

Will Pakistan and Bangladesh bury the hatchet?

Actually, Mr Patel was inclined to trade Junagadh and Hyderabad for Kashmir, but support for that fell apart after Mr Jinnah accepted the Nawab of Junagadh's accession to Pakistan and tried to incite rulers in states like Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Bhopal and Rampur which should clearly have been part...

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

I have never been to Pakistan, but based on Pakistani quam's reaction to Imran Khan's sex scandals and private life , it seems like a very permissive society. No US politician would have survived refusing to acknowledge the paternity of an illegitimate child after a court had delivered a...

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

Except that it has already been posed in many US universities, including the one where the Pakistani lecturer probably learnt of it, and has not elicited the kind of reaction it has in Pakistan.

India at Early Stages of Considering Whether it Wants the F-35 Stealth Fighters

That guy is a massive troll. Please don't take anything he says seriously.

India Emerges the Biggest Winner of the Ukraine War and Growing US-China Tensions

LOL. What a troll. Putting him on ignore.

India Emerges the Biggest Winner of the Ukraine War and Growing US-China Tensions

LOL. Almost everyone who is well-informed , including those in India, knows that, in general, the quality of American equipment is superior to that from Russia. The downside is that it has a higher upfront cost and comes with political strings attached, whereas the Russians quote a cheaper...

India at Early Stages of Considering Whether it Wants the F-35 Stealth Fighters

Ukraine was a military supplier to Pakistan. Why will India give them weapons for free? In any case, much of the Ukraine military supply from Eastern Europe is already being funded by the US and Germany.

India at Early Stages of Considering Whether it Wants the F-35 Stealth Fighters

I think India would be fine donating all her Russian equipment if the US agreed to replace all of it with equivalent American equipment. I am sure the Indian armed forces will happily swap their present Russian kit for F35/F15s/F18s/F16/ Ambrams etc. I don't think the US will agree to fund it...

India Emerges the Biggest Winner of the Ukraine War and Growing US-China Tensions

Indian diplomats are descendants of Chanakya. No one can match them in realpolitik.

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

Actually I have been to a nude beach for the experience and didn't find it awkward at all. I guess whoever set the question over-estimated the students. Maybe he should have leaked the question and given the students an opportunity to mug up an answer. Much of the Muslim religious morality is...

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

A very large section of the Pakistani awaam idolises a womaniser, with a long history of fornication and rumoured bisexual proclivity, who has fathered a child outside marriage and refused to acknowledge her. Some are willing to lay down their lives for him. Which conservative quasi-theocracy...

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

I am not the OP's spokesperson, but, in general, the quality of education in India is not great either and based on rote learning with little emphasis on critical reasoning. However, there are an increasing number of universities which provide world-class education, at least at the undergraduate...

    General Cricket thread

Jadeja was applying ointment on his finger, not trying to tamper with the ball, according to this British newspaper. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/feb/12/ravi-jadeja-fined-by-icc-for-ointment-on-finger-but-cleared-of-ball-tampering. The Sydney morning herald has a similar story, but...

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

I would have tried to explain but it is pointless. If you care, you can use google to find out why the question is deliberately provocative and actually has nothing to do with fornication or incest but it meant to illustrate the difference in reaction due to emotion and reason. The reaction it...

Comsats University terminates lecturer over asking 'objectionable question' in quiz

Actually this is a well known question, first posed by a Professor in the US many years ago, used to illustrate the concept of "moral dumbfounding" - but most people in India and Pakistan lack the critical faculty to appreciate it. I feel sorry for the COMSATS Prof. The poor guy was trying to...

Sara Ali Khan Gets Trolled For Maha Shivratri Post

She is from a very cosmopolitan family. Paternal grandfather was a Muslim and married a Hindu. Maternal grandfather was a Sikh and married a Muslim. So, she is probably a little confused about her religious identity.

    Lockheed Martin's F-16 block 70 (F-21) for India

Sure, just like Gen Niazi was going to cut a corridor through India to link East and West Pakistan and Gen Musharraf was going to be Fateh Kahsmir by executing the Kargil operation.

Why the Indian Establishment, Modi, and BJP hate and fear Imran Khan!

Well 1971 was not "done" by India. It was triggered by Operation Searchlight and the refusal to hand over power to Mujib who had been elected Prime Minister of Pakistan. There was no way India was going to absorb the millions of Bengali refugees and there was no way they were going to go back...
