Heard from a serving military member (Lt. Col) that they're increasing the L/C duration from 2 years to 4 years, starting from 144 L/C. Any news on this? I mean no offence for assuming, I heard from a serving member and I asked.

Regarding the "President's Bodyguard" (PBG), does this regiment trace it's lineage to 1773? I've read that the Governer General's Bodyguard was split between Pakistan and India, if it does, wouldn't this make the PBG the oldest serving unit in the Pakistan Army?
