i thought that the indian army was interested in the SPYDER system for short range air-defence . what does this mean for SPYDER ????? also since the MRSAM system will take atleast a decade before it can be inducted, what measures do indian have in place for long-range...

It's true that india has the Super Dvora Mk-II boats, but india has only 8 of them With a coastline as big as india , It needs atleast 40-50 of them the latest in the series is the super Dvora Mk-III version which india does not have

the car-nicobar class has a top speed of 35-knots & the saryu class has a top speed of 25-knots, they are nowhere compared to the MRTP-33, which has a top speed of over 60-knots:bunny:

small submarines are used for special operations & littoral warfare the best in this class is the SMX-23/24 andrata also noteworthy is the s-800/1000 of italy but i don't think that pakistan needs small submarines because there is no better platform for special operations than the U-214

how can a country whose air-force squadron strength is depleting with every passing month , possibly be a global power????? i know in airforce quality matter more than quantity but even quality wise india is nowhere compared to global powers. same goes for the navy: only 8 out of 14 diesel...
