I agree that the liberal sections need to study our own religion first before harping on whatever the west says. On re-education and re-introduction, I think capital punishment are only allowed in Islam in just 7-8 types of crimes. Can't recall them now but I will search for them in a while...

If its true, a very unfortunate incident and I hope the groom is punished. The incident should be properly investigated and if it turns out to be false then this doctor should also be taken to task and punished/ reprimanded/fined accordingly for spreading false info.
