India Defence budget ratio to GDP is okay but indigenous defence industry of India is very poor which should be improved if India really wants to stand in front of China. Tejas and Arjun failed badly, lets see how India 5th gen jet project goes.

KSA has a very big defence budget and a very developed economy and are investing a lot to make their indigenous defence industry but what prevents supa powa India to produce defence equipment indigenously like their tejas and arjun tanks :D
