I think its Eurofighter Typhoon when the Air Chief visited UK. This was reciprocated by UK Air Chief when he was flown in an F-16B in Pakistan. Hope I am correct :)
Hahah... no I just listen (or read) more and talk less... only talk when I have something meaningful and useful to say .. so many senior and knowledgeable members on this forum.. keep up the good work, you all..
May be the purpose of this land is to develop a weapons range similar to Thal or Somiani, rather than an air base for aircraft in Shahbaz and Samungli bases?
"And member since 2006 with an average of 2 replies/year when do I get promoted to a Pilot Officer? :-) "
I had this poster in my room :-).
Standing in front of a fully bombed up F-16 (12x MK-82s & 4x AIMs) and Potohar jeep with title something like "What else could you ask for"..
Pretty sure his name was Zafar Ahsan. His younger brother was my senior in UET, Lahore.
Also one of the pilots who ejected from F-16B was Faaiz Amir who later retired as AVM.
No. I was responding to your original note about "passenger flights".
I see you have edited your post to highlight C-130 passenger flights. That may very well be the case.
Don't think so. My family just returned from Lahore last week (went in early May). Air corridor to/from India may be closed but flights from western approach are operating normally as per knowledge.
