i have someone in paf and he told me that pak is already working on j-31 with chines. but he didn't mention what kind of work is going on and i think chines tailoring to paf specs. And as you opened this thread i am sure there is something happening about j-31 b/w pak and china.

thanks for reply. i mean radar and weapon control(for example see target and fire missile). because if this aesa radar selected then there ill be some new weapons also integrated. so this means software changes or up gradation will b necessary.

I have a question about the software used in current blocks. i read somewhere that jft software is made in C++, so for the block 3 if this klj7a is selected there will be changes in software.

Personally I wish for FN SCAR. But now its up to what they (FN & Berreta) offers and you also know that cost also matters in pak case. By the way do you know about announcement date of the winner rifle.

personally i love FN SCAR H&L but approch of italian govt and cost is indicating that ARX 200 has some advantage over FN SCAR(in pakistan case).
