Out in the open both Iran and KSA pretended to be on good terms. That's why KSA voted the way it did in the UN. It has nothing to do with not wanting Iranian people to suffer, as we saw behind closed doors the Saudi king encouraged the US to go to war with Iran and "cut the head of the snake" as...
I think the sanctions have very little to do with KSA. Even though KSA encouraged them, it is all about what Israel and by extension USA want. KSA helped ease the oil problem by providing more oil to compensate for Iran, but either way sanctions would have come.
It's deep hatred on both sides...
Iran and KSA don't really have any direct conflict in which they need to make concessions. All of our hostilities are being played out through third parties, which makes it harder to back down.
You misunderstand mate. Musa Sadr was born and raised in Iran, that's why he has a Persian accent. However other Lebanese Shias mimic his accent as a sign of affection towards him. Not meant to say that Lebanese have Persian variation in their accent. Although I have seen other Arabs mock...
Of course, thousands of years of shared Empires, trade and migration will do that. I always said that Iran's closest non-Iranic neighbour in terms of culture is Iraq.
It was just a statement of reassurance towards a neighbouring country. Nobody expects Iraq to strike back against Israel.
Most probably tea, us Iranian Mullahtics prefer it to Ghahveh.
Ha, never knew he had a Lebanese accent. Guess he picked it up while studying in Beirut University. BTW can...
Yeah, we don't have w sound, or dh/th sound. That's why we say names like Ridha as Reza.
Bahlavi, Bebsi. But I got to say my favourite is Joojle.
I didn't call them Iranian. You are more then welcome to them. Anyway go back a few centuries more and Iran was Sunni majority, so one shouldn't assume someone of Iranian descent will be Shia.
Thought as much. Many of Iran's current high ranking officials are also born in Iraq. Either Iraqi Persians or Iraqi Arabs who gained Iranian citizenship.
Great news. I hope our relations grow with Venezuela under the new presidency of Nicolas Maduro. They are a very important country now with the world's largest proven oil reserves, a great ally for us to have in the Americas.
