No, just wondering. I'm reading one right now called The Female Quixote. You liked Twilight and people(mainly females) say those books are better versions. Read Jane Eyre last year and it didn't have the Titanic effect I was hoping for.:bounce: PS, I'm always pessimistic and miserable.:)

I'm 100% with you on this. That's why I was curious as to why "Islam"? If we can't understand something, we should stay skeptical. "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." And even the basic evidence is lacking.:what:

Basically the argument goes, We cannot define what is right or wrong, therefore God can tell us. We don't know how the universe, animals etc came into existence, therefore God created them. And on and on.... Though it is not entirely an absurd line of reasoning, no one is able to define why...

@Armstrong Dude, the problem here is, we are looking at the argument from two different angles. You are looking at it in the philosophical speculative sense, and I'm looking at it in the realistic worldly sense. So let's slow it down a bit until I've read half as much philosophy as yourself(not...

Sounds about right. A god who knew when creating us that 999/1000 person will eventually end up in hell, and then proceeded to create us, without our permission and then put us in a "test" we never personally asked for..:raise: lool don't know dude. Are there any Hindu, Christian Pathans?

Lahwalawalaquwata/ Dude, the very notion of feeling and experience is personal. It is, by its very definition not supposed to have a uniform definition that will resonate with all. What I'm saying is the whole premise is wrong, just because it is impossible to have some sort of consensus, does...

If you question everything in Islam, you will stop believing in it dude. And to be a Pathan, you have to be a Muslim first. Heard that from @farhan_9909

:agree: Your talking crap dude. No but seriously, it's a good point. Without a purpose, everything is pointless. I say we give our own meanings to things. What a horrible notion that all things of importance to us, of our tastes, our smells, our sense of what is right and wrong ...
