"OUR" ? Does Pakistan now lay claims to parts of Sri Lanka also? If not, nothing in Lanka is yours. Their country, their rules. They dont want you to go into a building, you don't go. That's the basic courtesy you need to extend to your hosts.

You have no clue about the meaning of a country being secular. It means that govt should not prefer or force one religious belief. Does not mean that Hindus or Muslims or Christians can not prefer having exclusivity in their religious events. Comprehension seems to be a big issue on this forum
