You don't have to derail...I'll give you 10 examples where they haven't been holy. But then as many times they've screwed up, there are many many occasions where they have turned a blind eye to pak transgressions too. SImple Funda: No one likes party poopers- n Korea, al qaida etc. are the...

Indian diplomat mars Pak N-nonproliferation efforts

Sounds very nice when you look only at Pakistan in the map. Now let me take you through a different math. Take India's present pop of 1.2 B and take out the 180 m. How much is left? 1 B. Take the 2050 Pop of 300 m and take it out of our projected pop and how much do you get ( horrendous) 1 b...

Indian diplomat mars Pak N-nonproliferation efforts

Even by the stand your own government, the state wasn't involved in proliferation and it was a loose canon scientist. At the very leats those are grave crimes aginst the state of pak as the weapons and technology belongs to the state and not him (going by your stand) But it's not as simple as...

Indian diplomat mars Pak N-nonproliferation efforts

different countries, different rules. India being made a member of NSG through an exceptional deal has great advantages for the world- 1/6th of humanity becomes part of non proliferation. That's not the case with Pak so it''ll always be considered a petulant child.

1971 War - The Untold Story - EXPOSING Propanganda and the telling the truth

^^^ there is no need for us to justify why we booted them out. They had lost all legitimacy and the Indian people had decided to throw out any historic right they may claim on them. So we washed out the old and wasted systems and replaced it with a progressive democratic government.

1971 War - The Untold Story - EXPOSING Propanganda and the telling the truth

^^^ na na. There is a disconnect and this one is coming out of context. The day mountbatten called the princes, he urged the princes or their representatives to join one or the other side. In face he was very irritated with the attitude of some of the princes. Even though their political future...

1971 War - The Untold Story - EXPOSING Propanganda and the telling the truth

^^^ again, all that your text specifies is, what would be the relationship between british crown and states in the subcontinent and the lapsing of the paramountcy. It doesn't talk about political arrangements between the states. What does Poin4 mean...not clear.

India's First indigenous aircraft carrier to be launched this December.

^^^ I'm saying the ship in the pic isn't viraat, so the news item that says only 2 out of 21 blocks is complete is incorrect

1971 War - The Untold Story - EXPOSING Propanganda and the telling the truth

Now I get it....you are referring to the relations betwen england and princely states- of course that's true. But this is not what was discussed for the 'political arrangement between the GOI and princely states. Your reference is misleading.

1971 War - The Untold Story - EXPOSING Propanganda and the telling the truth

There's something wrong in what you have stated/presented/ source. Yes. Congress & Jinnah were the two powers in the subcontinent. The instrument of accesion was a formal surrender document. Mountbatten himself had urged the princes to join this oe other group (one of two) coz he couldn't...

1971 War - The Untold Story - EXPOSING Propanganda and the telling the truth

There is nothing to 'hide'. It's all there in the history books. When the British decided to leave, mountbatten had first proposed a plan to take a three way view- Congress, Muslim League and Independence for those who didn't want either. It was Congress & Nehru who put the foot down and said...

India's First indigenous aircraft carrier to be launched this December.

SOmething wrong dude. I think this is outdated news. That ship on cochin shipyard is not Viraat, that looks like IAC (Coz vikrant is a museum piece) and the story fits coz construction has been on for many years now.
