Army brass reviews COVID-19 preventive measures

This is important. An army cannot fight if it is sick. A lot has to be done in this domain by everyone from the top to the bottom.

Both of these posts are based on a wild assumption that aircraft did stall. The possibility is very bleak because F-16 does have anti stall devices such as multi spool compressor & turbines, inlet glide vanes etc. Furthermore, F-16s FBW also prevents stall by not allowing pilot to lets say...

There is another way. Try looking at details of ejection seats. Martin baker 00 and ACES have considerable differences. Most of us have never met these pilots. Instead of trying to look at their faces and posting here, look at other clues. You'll get your answer.

Now sure what to address here. 100% rhetoric. This is not some grave mistake of the 'leadership' again (where you are trying to go) Clearly, you have no idea how Air Forces work. OC of a squadron is someone who DOES NOT need oversight in flying. OC 9 in PAF has a rich flying experience...

Yes. The seat has been found intact with some parts of the cockpit.

I think mistakes happen. Aviation vocabulary is not common anyway. However, it would have been better if she confused it with 'injection' and not what she said. Pure bad luck.

There was no ejection. If anyone thinks otherwise has been misinformed.

No they dont. They perform ground duties. For exam academy security is just one thing.

I get where you are coming from but this not an adequate way to raise a concern. No one is bad mouthing PAF here. Neither is anyone ridiculing the pilot. Members are delibrating on the possible outcomes. Again, its a bad way to raise a concern.

The AB was disengaged upon decedent which should give him enough maneuverability to execute a full loop upon pull up. But yes, not enough height points out to @Hodor assumption of wrong altimeter settings. There will be a shake up after this incident for sure. Whenever a tragedy happens, we...

The clouds were at 1300 to 1500 AGL. This may be a factor. The fact that it doesn't look like GLOC is because the aircraft's vertical stabilizer was engaged which means he was actively trying to pull up.

Well said. A piece of somewhat better news is that the body has been recovered intact Alhamdullilah. The aircraft didn't hit in a complete nose dive. It was a belly hit. Janaza of Wg. Cmdr Nauman Akram is to be held at AHQ, Islamabad at Maghrib.

It was hard for me to wake up to this news today. Not because we lost a jet, but the pilot itself. Block 70's will come, Nauman Akram will not. I would urge all members to not reach conclusions and try to hold PAF accountable for 'using' F-16. It has been a tradition since decades and we all...

27 Feb 19: PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace: DG ISPR

They are actually practicing with their AWACS. We see increased air activity of their AEW&C assets here and there. This was their weakness and they are working on it. Any Air Force would do.

PAF locked on 9 shoot only two...PAF official....0n 27 Feb....

It's a defeatist mindset that you just mentioned. There is no such thing as 'exposing capabilities' Why do we have these capabilities if we are not going to use them? I will really try to conceal my words, but Pakistan has 1000 different plans to deal with India. One plan after another is...
