    Diff. b/w insurgency and terrorism?

IMO, you can be an insurgent without being a terrorist, granted you don't attack and kill innocent people. You can not, however, be a terrorist without being an insurgent. As a close example, the LTTE initially only began as insurgents because their grouse with the state only lead to...

Is Defeat in a war good for a country?

But you fail to realize that India's 1000 year war against the Muslims (sorry my friend, not Muslim rule) was won eventually. The Marathas and Sikhs carried on the foundational stone laid by the early Rajputs, and completely liberated all of India top to bottom (including present-day Pakistan)...

How Indian Troops Became the Backbone of the British Empire

Deccan was a Muslim kingdom? Err- not really, Muslim stronghold over the Deccan lasted for about only a century when the Marathas defeated the Adil Shahis and became the region's strongest power. After Aurangzeb's death and subsequent end of the Maratha-Mughal war, Andhra Pradesh was the only...

How Indian Troops Became the Backbone of the British Empire

Can you list me all these "small kingdoms"? Outside of North India, there were many independent kingdoms from the time of Khilji through the last Mughal king. Hell, the Northeast was never conquered because of the Ahoms. The Deccan too has a unique history with the Vijayanagara and Maratha...

How Indian Troops Became the Backbone of the British Empire

Interesting to say the least. A Russian is able to comprehend what a Pakistani fails to, Muslims never at any time ruled all of India, and even the whole bogus 1000 year figure only applies to the region now called Pakistan and not modern India. I don't understand why they are so adamant about...

Bring back Aurangzeb Rule to India: Congress Maulana

So? Hindu Rajputs were almost 1/2 of the Mughal army at its peak, does that mean that the empire wasn't Muslim?

Muslims in India Demand Breaking Ties with Israel

Terrible analogy. For starters, Muslims in India have nothing in relation with Palestinians aside from religion.:disagree:

Sri Lanka Muslims call for protection

What are you on about? Other than the citizens of Tamil Nadu, no Indians are justifying the fragmenting of Sri Lanka for any purposes.

    Pallywood: Debunking Palestinean Lies

Interesting. I knew that the Arab-Jew divide was initially a result of preconceived hostilities due to the whole Abrahamic bloodline affair, but I figured tensions between the two only escalated after prophet Mohammed started to spread his message in the Medina.

Israel, threat to world peace: German Nobel laureate Grass

They've been killing one another senselessly for the past 1500 years.... despite sharing similar scriptures, all being monotheist "peoples of the book", and even having common prophets.... It's truly maddening.

Why are Indians so overconfident about themselves? [VIDEO]

You make it sound as if all of India was ruled by Muslim invaders for 1000 years....when in fact those invaders were the ones who caused paramount physical and cultural destruction victimized your ancestors the most, before they converted.... Unless of course, Zaid Hamid is growing on you.

Why are Indians so overconfident about themselves? [VIDEO]

But Pakistan was nothing more than a vast territory in northwestern India that bore the brunt of every Islamic invasion from the time immemorial. The indigenous people of the land were Indo-Aryans and followed Hinduism, and the fact remains that the descendants of those people still occupy the...

India & Pakistan : Can we have a dream ?

I don't think any Indians hate China, they just view you as a national threat and resent your relationship with Hindu brother Nepal, who is coincidentally our region buffer.

India & Pakistan : Can we have a dream ?

Thanks for the kind words Desert Fox. It is probably due to the fact that we have absolutely no history with Pakistanis. The trend I've noticed with the common Indian is that the further north you go, the more they tend to dislike Muslims and abhor Pakistan.
